A total of 1750 candidates appear in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D-2025) entry examination, for a number of 100 seats on January 03, 2023, at Jinnah Sindh Medical University.
According to Dr Fatima Abid, Director Admissions, 2678 aspirants submitted applications for admission in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) 5-year degree program from all over the province, out of whom 1750 candidates were declared eligible. “The test comprises questions from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. Admissions will be given on 70 open merit and 30 self-finance,”she said.
While appreciating the transparent conduct of the Pharm-D entry test, Vice Chancellor JSMU Professor Amjad Siraj Memon said that Pharmacy graduates of JSMU are shining stars and are making Pakistan proud all over the world. He further added that the Pharmacy Department is an HEC-approved department, paving the way for Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs in the field.
Registrar Dr Azam Khan along with Controller Examinations Dr Fauzia Imtiaz visited the examination sites established in various departments and expressed their satisfaction after reviewing the arrangements and facilities provided to the candidates. Principal and vice Principal IPS-JSMU Professor Huma Ali, and Prof Huma Shareef with team monitored the process of the test.
