KARACHI: Dow Skills Development Center (DSDC) has achieved a significant milestone by securing City and Guilds Accreditation for internationally recognized training programs.
Representatives from City & Guilds visited Dow University of Health Sciences to grant accreditation to DSDC Dow Skills Development Center (DSDC). During the meeting, the Dow Skills Development Center was recognized for its commitment to achieving the highest standards, resulting in the approval to provide the accreditation program.
The accreditation visit was led by GEMS Pathways, the authorized representatives of City & Guilds in Pakistan. The delegation included Country Manager Tabish Fareedi, Quality Assurance Head Muhammad Irshad, and Academic Head Muhammad Furqan Iqbal. Additionally, distinguished representatives joined the session online, including Dr. Amir Saadati, Executive Director, GEMS Middle East, Dr. Tony Degazon, and Regional Manager, City & Guilds/ILM (Middle East, North Africa, and Europe). Other senior members from GEMS Pathways, City & Guilds. Prof. Dr. Kashif Shafique, Director DSDC marked the ceremony by acknowledging that "this visit marks a significant milestone for DSDC, and with this accreditation, DSDC is set to offer globally recognized training programs, further strengthening its role in professional development and skill enhancement in the healthcare sector".
