KARACHI: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) JPMC expresses its sincere gratitude to the Executive Director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for promptly addressing the concerns raised by the association.
Dr. Ammar Danish, President of YDA JPMC, and Dr. Azeem Khoso, DGS, had submitted an application highlighting five key issues that required immediate attention. These concerns included:
- Separate Cafeteria for Doctors: A dedicated space for doctors to rest and recharge, promoting a healthier work environment.
- Vacant Illegal Occupancy at Hostel and Doctors' Colony: Efforts to address unauthorized occupancy and ensure a safe and secure living environment for medical staff.
- Stoppage of Charge Parking at JPMC Premises: Free parking facilities for patients and attendants, reducing financial burdens and enhancing their overall experience.
- Cafeteria for Patients and Attendants near Emergency: A convenient and accessible dining option for those seeking medical attention, providing comfort during stressful times.
- Immediate Release of PG Hos Stipend: Ensuring timely payment of stipends to postgraduate students, alleviating financial hardships and enabling them to focus on their studies.
The Executive Director's prompt response to these concerns demonstrates JPMC's commitment to providing a supportive work environment for its medical staff and a patient-centric approach to healthcare, stated YDA officials.
"We appreciate the Executive Director's willingness to listen to our concerns and take immediate action," said Dr. Ammar Danish. "This proactive approach will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our work environment and the quality of care we provide to our patients."
