Karachi: The Provincial Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM) for the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) was successfully conducted by the Provincial EPI, with technical support from the World Health Organization (WHO).
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Fayaz Abbasi Commissioner Sukkur, with co-chairs Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Project Director EPI Sindh, and Dr. Sohail Raza Shaikh, Additional Director at Sukkur and Larkana Division. Later sessions were chaired by Dr. Waqar Mehmood, Director General Health Services Sindh, with co-chairs Dr. Muhammad Naeem and Dr. Sohail Raza Shaikh, Additional Director for Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and Shaheed Benazirabad (SBA) Divisions.
The sessions were moderated by Dr. Arslan Memon, ensuring a seamless and productive discussion. Key attendees included Dr. Khalilullah Memon, Deputy Project Director EPI; Dr. Mukhtiar Bhayo and Dr. Waqar Soomro from WHO; and Dr. Ghulam Hussain Buledi, Surveillance Officer.
Additionally, the meeting was attended by a team of dedicated professionals, including Dr. Mehmood, Dr. Ramesh, Dr. Zain Bhayo, Dr. Adnan Khan, Fahad Fehmi, Aijaz Jamali, Muzafar Bhurt, Tanveer Ahmed, and Suneel Raja. Representatives from District Health Offices (DHOs), EPI Focal Persons (FPs), Divisional Surveillance Coordinators (DSC), and partner organizations also actively participated in the meeting."
