Karachi: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh has strongly condemned the alleged corruption and mismanagement within the Finance and Research Department of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
We have come to know that certain individuals in the department are involved in financial misconduct and malpractices. To cover up their own failures, they are unjustly blaming CPSP candidates, which is unfairly impacting innocent students, chairman YDA Dr. Mehboob Noonari said in a press statement.
The YDA completely oppose these actions and urge the President of CPSP to take immediate action to ensure that students are not penalized for the incompetence of a few individuals. We demand full accountability for everyone involved in these dishonest activities, he demanded.
YDA Sindh will not hesitate to take strong measures to protect medical student’s rights. Whether it means organizing a strike or pursuing legal action with our legal team, we are ready to take whatever steps necessary. We will hold not only the individuals in the Finance Department accountable but also its head, he warned.
If these issues are not addressed without delay, we will make sure those responsible face the consequences of their actions, chairman YDA reaffirmed.
